Lately i find it difficult to keep track of my growing family birthdays. so i decided to start the family tree project. in the following link you will be able to watch my family tree on the new and cool side Geni.
Geni privacy settings help you to hide your tree from being seen to people not in your genealogy, so the link you provide does not make sense to those not in your family :)
Interesting topic--we wish you much success in China with Meijob.
As Reno correctly stated in his post the Geni privacy/security settings shield your Geni tree information from anyone not invited by you to view and join your tree so providing the link will not let readers see your tree. The readers can, however, begin building their own family tree (and we hope they do).
Am i the only one to note the casual loss of privacy here? You are offering your entire family’s name, data and e-mail address if they have one etc for the world to see. Once you are in you are in for good. Its worse than Face book which by the way states in their terms that they will own the rights to all the content (text and photos) you post to use globally for ever. It is insane that we are giving away our personal data like this when our founding fathers and generations before us fought so hard to respect and maintain a certain level of privacy only seen in developed democratic nations. Think about that for a second? Its not such a great thing after all.
I am Barak Paz-Tal, an ordinary guy that worked in a mobile company in Israel for 5 years and 10 years as an employee in total. One day I have decided to try something new! My wife and I decided to go to China. Our dream was to create a new business. This blog is all about our adventure in China, our company Meijob, that just launched the site www.Meijob.com, a leading job search engine in China. Meijob has a unique team of over 20 members that share the same mantra - make jobs come true
